Pontus Johansson
Born 1992 in Sweden.
Since an early age I've been enamored with all kinds of beings: reptiles, amphibians & insects etc... But throughout my life, plants have been my true love.
In the last years I've been trying to widen my spectra and learn more about fungi, lichens & mosses. They are coming along fine, most of the time.
Being able to show what I see in our planet's nature is something I would like to do for a living. But if it's through photography, guiding or working as a biologist, I don't really know yet.
I grew up on a dairy farm on the outskirts of Borås, a city 60 km to the east of Gothenburg.
All photographs are taken in the wild!
I use a Nikon D3000.
I bought my first macro lens 2013-04-03, an AF-S DX Micro NIKKOR 40mm f/2.8G. All pictures posted from year 2013 and onwards are made with this lens.
Before that I used a NIKKOR 18-55 VR lens combined with two macro filters. One HOYA HMC 52 mm +2 and a +3.
